Rebranding in Midlife: When Your Business No Longer Feels Like You
Mighty Within was my business for many years. It was a reminder, an anthem, a call to action about tapping into your inner power and navigating the ups and downs of starting a business.
But that’s who I was ten years ago.
My work had changed. I had changed. And in my fifties, a little wiser and more experienced, I realized my business no longer reflected where I was or where I was going.
It was time for my business to evolve with me.
Enter Studio Crone.
Why Your Brand Needs to Evolve With You
Your brand is more than a logo suite, colors, images, and words. It’s a feeling. A mood. It’s your why. And when you and your business evolve but your brand stays the same, eventually something starts to feel off.
What once fit can begin to feel like a version of yourself you’ve already moved beyond.
How to Know If Your Business No Longer Feels Like You
If you’re wondering whether you’ve outgrown your brand, here are some questions to ask yourself:
Does my brand still reflect who I am and the work I do now?
Have I changed, but the way my business looks and sounds hasn’t?
Do I hesitate to send people to my website or social media because something feels off?
Am I attracting the people I actually want to work with now?
Does my business feel like a past version of me?
Have my services, perspective, or priorities changed?
Am I trying to fix individual pieces when what I really need is a bigger shift?
If I were starting this business today, would I create it the same way?
Why I Chose Studio Crone
I’m in my 50s and know how much can shift during these years. There’s change, loss, reinvention, and a newfound sense of self, often happening all at once.
I wanted my business to reflect that evolution and what I’ve come to believe about midlife: we’re not becoming less of ourselves. We’re becoming more of who we actually are.
Studio Crone grew from that belief. It challenges the idea that women become invisible or less valuable as we age, or that a “crone” is simply a “cruel or ugly old woman,” as Webster’s Dictionary defines it.
I see something very different.
Wisdom. Confidence. Individuality. And the freedom to show up as who we are now.
We’re not disappearing. We’re just getting started!
